Evangelia Koraki, Chief Executive Officer
Ms Koraki is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of CORONIS Research SA since 2003.
She has studied Chemistry at the University of Athens and possesses more than 20 years of management knowledge and experience in the global pharmaceutical industry in Medical & Regulatory Affairs with companies such as Roche, Warner Lambert, Pfizer, Actelion Pharmaceuticals, including 15 years of high level responsibility in Clinical Research.
She has contributed to the global development of numerous products, including orphan drugs and she has an in-depth awareness of Regulatory Affairs procedures pertaining to National, European and International governmental policies. She has broad experience in corporate relations with all public sectors (Health Authorities, Ministry officials, Trade associations, Sick funds, Medical and Patient Associations) and she has participated in many working groups aiming to promote clinical research in Greece and assist in its harmonization with the European standards.
Ms Koraki's foremost management objective is to create and sustain an ethical and value-driven workplace culture through continuous employee development, a customer-oriented philosophy and the highest performance standards.
She is a co-founder of the Hellenic CRO Association HACRO, established in 2012. She served as Secretary until the end of 2017 and since then she is the President of HACRO.
Harry Therianos, Chief Operating Officer
Dr Therianos is the Chief Operating Officer of CORONIS Research SA.
He is board-certified in Ophthalmic Surgery and holds membership in numerous professional associations including the Athens Medical Association and the Hellenic Society of Pharmaceutical Medicine. In this capacity, he is responsible for the strategic aspects of CORONIS’ global service delivery and works closely with Operational and Business Development groups. He also maintains a leadership role in establishing and managing strategic partnerships.
Dr Therianos has over 30 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. He has held management positions for major pharmaceutical companies, such as Lundbeck, Pfizer, GSK and Eli Lilly, where he assumed key leading positions in the medical, regulatory affairs and clinical research departments.
His strong leadership skills and diverse background in all aspects of clinical research, and drug development, uniquely qualify him to carry out each of our client's product life-cycle management needs.
